5 Origami Tips for Origami Beginners

Here are five tips to help you begin origami.

1. Use crisp paper. Don't use just any paper but don't buy expensive paper at first or else you'll just waste it
2. Learn the basic folds of origami. People start doing origami without knowing the basic folds which is a mistake. Here is a 5-page document with the basic folds explained.
   
3. Fold on a solid, straight and stable surface.
4. Take a break every now and then.
5. Remember - practice is of most importance. Otherwise, learn from the PROs mostly.

As great as you can get, this time we continue with origami after a break (but that was not a prison break) you get a duck. A fully fletched origami. Just get it and fold it and then you can have a duck on your sofa or whatever in no time (well... in maybe a few minutes). If you don't screw up which you shouldn't.
